The following information was provided to potential participants when recruitment was ongoing; it has now ended.

Informed Consent

Informed consent is a process which helps to ensure your clear and complete understanding of the study purpose, study requirements, and the risks and benefits of participating in the SHRP 2 Naturalistic Driving Study. It describes in detail the purpose of the research, what equipment will be installed in or mounted to your vehicle, what type of data will be collected, how that data will be protected, the level of compensation that will be provided, and other rights that you have when you volunteer to participate in the study.

Because individual laws may vary from state to state, you may view the specific informed consent based on site location of interest.
